VIA FORMSPRING: you said you will be doing advice on your blog and i have no better way to contact anonymously. sooo here it goes. how do i ask a girl out & tell her i like her?

Okay, Mr/Mrs Anonymous!

Firstly, you can´t just ask a girl out if you barely know her. You can´t base a relationship of her looks or a five minute opinion. The great, yet sad, thing about this generation is FACEBOOK and every other kind of electronic communication we have! Add her, if you haven´t already, and start a conversation. Ask her what kind of music she likes, her favourite subject at school, ask her what her interests are and find some middle ground. Once you find something you both share a mutual interest in, the conversation is kick-started from there. If she seems interested in the convo and is replying with more than one worded answers, suggest hanging out some time. If she says no, she says no - but if she says yes don´t do the whole ¨oh awesome! u free 2morrow?!?!¨ kind of thing. Leave it at that, because girls are like kittens. If you come up slowly, pat them, play around - it´s all great. Don´t just go running and screaming in their direction or they´ll hiss, scratch and potentially run off and avoid you.

Now when you hang out, you need to establish if there is a mutual attraction! Which isn´t too hard. After that, keep the flirting going for an amount of time where it´s quite obvious if she likes you or not, whilst trying to get to know her as much as possible in the process!

When you ask her to ¨be your girlfriend¨ or whatever, do it however feels right for you! I can´t determine when is the right time or where, but rememeber these things:
Tell her you think she´s really cute.
Tell her she´s sweet & nice.
Make her feel good about herself.
Be honest with her.
Don´t be downright rude or arrogant.
You don´t have to agree with every opinion of hers or change yours to suit hers - GIRLS HATE THAT.
Don´t tell her she looks like your ex/mother/family member.
Don´t be too clingy, it´s weird. o.o
Do not drag the flirting out too long. Leaving her waiting for ages will just make her insecurities fester, or if she´s really self confident, she´ĺl get sick of you being a whiny bitch and get bored, haha.
Make her laugh! A guy who can make her laugh is already half way there!
Stimulate her intellectually, we actually love decent conversation!
